About this Session

We’re kicking off autumn with something brand new for the Edmonton Calligraphic Society — our very first Calligraphy Community Drop‑In! This relaxed, cozy session invites anyone who registers to bring whatever calligraphy or lettering project they’re working on and enjoy creating alongside fellow members.

There’s no formal instructor for this gathering. Instead, it’s all about fostering community: chatting, sharing ideas, asking questions, and learning from one another in a warm, welcoming space. Whether you’re practicing a new script, finishing a piece, or simply craving a creative evening with others, you’re invited.

 

What to Bring

• Calligrapher's Tool Kit

• Your current calligraphy or lettering project and any required tools, or materials 

• Optional: something you’d like to show or share with the group

Note: Please bring your own supplies; none will be provided on site.

 

Instructor(s)

This is a community-led session — no instructor on site. Participants are encouraged to chat, collaborate, and learn from one another.

• Street parking is available in front of the storefront and the streets adjacent.

• Please use the entrance to the Artelier next to The Paint Spot.

• The space is wheelchair accessible.

• This is a scent‑free event to ensure comfort for all participants.
