Closing the Year & Looking Ahead 

Join us on May 5th for our final monthly meeting of the 2026–2027 year as we gather for the Edmonton Calligraphic Society’s Annual General Meeting.

About the AGM 

This is an important evening where we reflect on the past year, celebrate our community, and look ahead to the exciting projects and classes planned for 2027–2028. Refreshments and appetizers will be provided. All members are encouraged to attend, participate, and lend their voice to the future of ECS.

Agenda Highlights 

Our AGM will include: 

• Review and approval of the previous AGM minutes 

• Leadership and Volunteer Reports and Updates 

• Election of board and volunteer positions 

• Reveal of upcoming programs and initiatives 

• Member questions and discussion 

A full agenda will be shared with all members prior to the meeting. 

 

Art Activity & Materials 

Following the business portion of the evening, we’ll enjoy a creative, hands‑on art activity to close out the year together. More details about the project and materials will be provided closer to the date, so members can prepare or bring any optional supplies they may wish to use. 

 

Registration 

Members Only: This meeting is included in your ECS membership. 

Advanced registration is appreciated.

• AGM documents will be emailed prior to the meeting 

• Art activity details will be shared closer to May 5th, 2027 

• Street parking is available in front of the store and the streets adjacent. 

• Please use the entrance to the Artelier next to the Paint Spot. 

• The space is wheelchair accessible. 

• This is a scent free event to ensure comfort for all participants.
